Temperatures expected to plummet to -20 C here in Oslo next week (cold leftover gusts from Siberia, I've been told), and there seems to be no end to this winter. Expected to be cold all through March. It's been many years since there's been so much cold and snow. I fucking hate it!
    I am extremely serious.

    No spring in sight here.

Norway -- especially the South -- is like something out of GAME OF THRONES this year. The winter simply doesn't want to end.

Oslo and other parts of the South are still buried in snow, and we'll soon get -10C (-20 some places) in the coming days. Some suggest it will even last untill way into April.

I can't remember such a long, dark and frosty winter in my 40 years.

We're having hints of spring Thor, 44 today. Our melting has been slow so there is little danger of flooding.

    That's good.

Norwegians are panicking now, because if all of this snow will melt suddenly, come May, we'll have lots of severe floods on our hands.

Hopefully you'll experience the slow melting process we have going on here. Our water content of the snow is quite high so this is good for us. As you probably know we have the Mississippi in our state which is huge.

Still freezing here in Oslo, with temperatures around 0 (right below and above), and TONS of snow and icy roads everywhere, but temps are expected to rise to a tolerable 7 C next week. Not exactly spring, but hopefully we'll put the minus degrees behind us soon.

This winter has broken a lot of alltime records for amounts of snow and low temperatures!
