- Comment Thank you Thor! LIONHEART was the same year as I AM KUBA, and I just didn't manage to pick just one track from it. So I chose the I AM KUBA main titles as the 2014 track instead. Although I'm still not sure about that as I still fell LIONHEART as a whole is probably my best work.

- Comment I'm going to try to be a bit more frequent on updating you about my stuff. Right now I have a new album release in a week - a digital release only so far I'm afraid (yes, I'm a CD lover too). It's not a film score but actually a score for an experimental dance performance based on Henrik Ibsen's ...

- Comment Hello people, and thanks for the review Thomas! Actually I had not yet watched Kick-Ass while working on this film. Although at certain points, one or two Kick-Ass-cues were used in the temp score, as you may have guessed. ;) But actually 90% of the temp score was my own from the very beginning ...

- Comment I just came back to my apartment too, and just wrote a freakin' ESSAY on Facebook about my experience of the Elfman event in London and how much it all meant to me. Unfortunately it's in Norwegian, and I don't have the energy to write a similar English version right now. I'll have to get back to ...

- Comment I personally LOVE CDs... But you're right - sadly, there is no way to justify the cost involved for such a small label as mine. And selling CDs in Norway is almost impossible these days (let alone a film score CD), streaming has taken over the entire market here... The iTunes version includes a ...

- Comment Thank you Thor! :) There are parts of the score which are more orchestral without the guitars and drums, and vice versa. We tried going fully orchestral with the opening titles at some point, but it didn't feel quite right in the context of the film. But who knows, I might go back to it one day..?

- Comment
Thor wrote I have no problem with a score eschewing the big and melodic score if that's what the film calls for. If it's molded in a very realistic idiom, there is no place for a big, swashbuckling, traditional score. As it should be. However, there's no need why a film molded in a ...
