- Comment I haven't been hung over in 2 years and only maybe slightly drunk once. I wonder what the hell i'm doing with my life? Though Jameson or Tullamore Dew seems to be kinder to me than beer.

- Comment
remains a great movie, after all these years. The cast is hilarious and the camera shots are amazing. Plus, if anybody ever releases Troost and Folk's score as heard in the film, they got a great release in their hands
Yes there were several moments in the score i really enjoyed. ...

- Comment I watched risible English comedy PARTING SHOTS (1998) only because i thought it had a Michael Winner commentary on it and i love his commentary for THE SENTINEL (i think it's called). Turns out its a written text thing that lasts a few pages and not an actual commentary. Was gutted i put myself ...

- Comment
Steven wrote Coming across well in an interview is not necessarily indicative of the quality of someone's music. If that were true, Herrmann's music wouldn't exactly fare well.
True enough, Steven. But it warmed me to him and made me want to check out his stuff initially. I ...

- Comment I liked Jackman from some interviews i have seen of him. They really got me interested in his stuff, as he comes across so well. though i haven't seen 80% of the films he's scored. I really enjoy his X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, particularly the rather excellent Frankenstein's Monster track, which worked ...

- Comment LEVIATHAN: THE MAKING OF HELLBOUND:HELLRAISER 2 - A very decent 3 hour+ documentary on a film i think is just okay (and apparently that's how most of the people involved feel about it). - Comment Ta, Timmer. i'll hunt the music down for sure. I remember seeing Scott of the antarctic films when i was younger, but for some reason remember it being black and white (but obviously not for about 20 years). I know it always seemed to be on telly on a sunday.

I was never a Mad Max fan, and wasn't interested in seeing this until the (i think) second trailer with the Dies Irae music in it, which i thought was an almost perfect trailer. - Comment I'd love to see how bad the "Nauls box-thing" effects were. It's the one time i'd love to see every out-take and variety of scene they filmed, as they edited and changed the script so much. I was hoping the sequel was going to somehow steal and adapt the 'ski-mobile versus thing-dog ...

- Comment the remake would have been better with the original effects they made for it rather than that woeful cgi thing at the end that genuinely made me laugh a bit.
