- Comment IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE Beautiful film, I really enjoyed it. Anyone seen Yumeji, the Japanese film where the track Yumeji's Theme is originally from? I'm curious if there is a specific reason that particular track was used, other than because it sounds wonderful.

- Comment
Thor wrote Hi Erlend -- another Norwegian, awesome! Welcome. Didn't we meet in Krakow a couple of years ago?
Don't think so, I was at the festival in Krakow for the first time last year. I was travelling with Halldor Krogh, might have been another one of his students you met?

- Comment Hey everybody, I'm technically not a new member, but haven't been in here for a long time, so might as well be. Aspiring composer from Norway, currently have two short films credited to me on IMDB. But one of those films (Generation Mars) was nominated for a student Academy Award for Foreign ...

The podcast is short, but very interesting to listen to, an insight into the collaborative process of the composer and the director. Its on ...

- discussion topic ALEXANDRE DESPLAT
- Comment I think the collaboration between Desplat and Wes Anderson is perfect, the music of Desplat enhances the delightful quirkyness of the Anderson films so much. Although centering the frame is a nono, Anderson makes it his niche (here is a compilation of his use of centering ...

- discussion topic JÓHANN JÓHANNSSON
- Comment The Theory of Everything is a absolutely wonderful film, the score by Jóhann Jóhannson really help complimenting the emotional intensity of the film. Fully deserved his Golden Globe, won't be surprised if he picks up an Academy Award as well, although he's got some tough competition

- Comment NP: Chichester Psalms - Leonard Bernstein I sing in a local choir, and we are performing this, as well as some Max Baumann in a few weeks. Really interesting music, the only tricky part is the lyrics, I have never sung in Hebrew before!

- discussion topic Video game score recommendations
- Comment I try to stay updated on games, but that is mostly because I have some friends who have a gaming channel on youtube that they want me to join. That would give me the opportunity to look closer at game soundtracks. I have read a little bit about the composition aspect of it as well, as I would love ...

- discussion topic What games have you played recently?
- Comment I recently finished the game Limbo, by Danish indie developers Playdead. The game is a very dark puzzle game set in, you guessed it, limbo. The puzzles are quite tricky and engaging, and the game is very creatively grotesque! The style of the game has been compared with film noir and German ...
