- Comment After Earth's story was written by Will Smith himself. Shyamalan and a couple of co-writers adapted it. JNH praised the movie, and Shyamalan's tweets proofs that he knows what he's doing.

- Comment Bourne is not being rebooted, it's a continuation of the story, but with another Treadstone agent. It's the fourth movie of the saga, and there's rumours of a fifth movie with Bourne and the new agent.

- Comment It's curious how people gets so dissapointed when a composer doesn't make a generic score for a fantasy film, just like they did with Desplat with The Golden Compass and the Deathly Hallows scores. Though JNH already said he wouldn't be able to please everybody with this score. For me, it's the ...

- Comment NP: The Yards - Shore Inspired on my recent comment, I decided to listen to this one. This is one of my favorite non-LOTR works from Shore. I like how he had his sound developed. The themes are very emotional, I like how he uses the harpischord in some of the cues that includes the main theme. Too ...

- Comment There's half of the score on the movie. Cues like Sunnyside Yards, Money Train, and other are unused. And some like Willing To Testify are very edited on the film. I like the cues with excerpts of Holst's The Planets.

- Comment I don't hear any glitch with the strings. About the choir, JNH never mix them really loud, but you can hear it very well on his scores (like in I Am Legend), here you can't. I mean, you have the full London Voices performing Horn Of Plenty, but it's almost drowned by the orchestra and percussion, ...

- Comment
Score mixing for Snow White nearly complete. Shawn Murphy creating an amazing sound with James' music. #SWATH
I hope this time the 80 voices choir can be properly mixed, unlike THG (at least on the CD).

- Comment Changing the subject, Stuart Thomas tweeted that the score for Snow White and the Huntsman is finished. JNH recorded two hours of music with a 106 piece orchestra and a 80 voices choir in London. He worked again with Maya Beiser for cello solos.

- Comment I never going to understand why they wanted Williams for the final film instead of the final two films. I wouldn't liked that the first film was for Desplat and the second one for Williams. Also, knowing when he worked on Tintin and War Horse, he had time to score both movies.

- Comment The movie is a excellent adaptation of the book. And it expands several stuff which didn't had development on it. No, the movie is not mostly unscored. There's 50 minutes of JNH music, besides a lot of source music, and it's not buried under the sound effects or dialogue. There's even scenes with ...

- Comment The Hunger Games - James Newton Howard Like I expected, it has a I Am Legend/Shyamalan vibe, but including some ethnic touches, country influences.
