Hello People,

I'm a filmmaking grad and I currently free lance on independent productions.
I'm a Tchaikovsky nut. That was my first introduction to music as a kid.
I was 15 when I bought my first score on tape. It was The Phantom Menace in 99.
The first on CD was The Perfect Storm, a year or two after. Naturally, I have a soft spot for those two composers. RIP the great James Horner.
Melody, orchestration and structure are what I look for in a score.
Other composers I like: Elmer Bernstein, Jerry Goldsmith, and Alexandre Desplat. I have a few scores by James Newton Howard. More recently I purchased a couple of scores by Johan Soderqvist and Rob Simonsen and found them to be quite good.
