  1. By now most of you know TV scoring for the most part is done with computers because the studios know it can for their crappy TV shows, and therefore cut the budget for a real orchestra.

    Here I am watching "Magic's Greatest Secret's Revlead" on FOX (don't know which special episode). The score for the special is done with computers obviously, but in this episode the magician is making a group of four string cortet players disappear (they even play).

    Isn't it funny -- they'll hire those string players just to make them disappear -- never mind the fact it didn't even need to be musicians at all -- but they woin't hire musicians for the score?
