Ah, i've forgotten about that too! World War Z also might be interesting...not sure about the movie though, what do you think?
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
  2. The movie might be very bad, the ending underwent very heavy reshoots.

  3. Judging by the trailers it just looks like a great zombie film, so considering there are so many bad B Zombie films out there, I'm pleased one of this size will at least do it right (visually speaking)

The book is quite interesting as it details a zombie apocalypse as if it were a historic, military event.
I'm not entirely sure though how one would go about filming it: best way would be a kind of "The Longest Day" aproach, but I kinda doubt tey went that way: there simply doesn't seem to be a market for that kind of 'helicopter view' pictures any more.

I have a very good audio play based on the book, which follows the format (interviews and debriefings with key people and stakeholders in the event) quite closely, and it works very well! I heartily recommend it!

Assuming that the score as a whole is longer than the album, I'm puzzled by the 45 minute limit unless WB expect this to sell very well or there's a change in the reduced re-use deal with the AFM.

    Where was this recorded?

It's been sent back in time into an alternate reality where it was released on LP before the introduction of the CD. dizzy
Bach's music is vibrant and inspired.

It's been sent back in time into an alternate reality when a bit of thought was put into soundtrack album production.
  5. It's been Thorishly cut.

World war z has some very sentimental, string-led passages which are very strong and a la JNH (i am legend) and the necessary electronic percussive noise.

Bit late to the party with "A Good Day to Die Hard", waited for the extended cut before seeing the movie (and hearing the score) and this Beltrami score is easily one of the most exciting and action driven scores he's done, another worthy addition to the Die Hard series! punk

I liked it, it was gritty & manly, definitely less gay than the previous one (no twink villains who can model in their spare time and have ipad smooth equipment and server fortresses, no Kevin Smith nerd invasion this time to win over the comic con crowd), the oneliners were ok and funny and most importantly the action sequences looked amazing. Also liked the grainy look of it and the son is ten times less winy than that the guy from the previous movie (forgot his name) and McClane's bore of a daughter. I would rate it equally to "Die Hard with a vengeance", nothing can top the original of course. Is it preposterous and comic book at times? Yes, but so were all the die hard movies, the critic's favorite had McClane ejecting from a plane like a Looney Tunes cartoon (not to mention the fuel trail bit). It was fun ride for me smile

    I'd rank 'em

    1. Die Hard
    2. With a Vengeance
    3. A Good Day to
