    I'm going to be house sitting for some dame the next year. I don't have to pay rent. Just utilities. smile
    However, she has a real b**** of a cat. Usually I get along with with most cats. We will see how things go. There is this awesome stray that is kind of becoming the hotel's cat where I work, that I would like to adopt, but I feel this new cat wouldn't like it much. :/

    Any ideas?
    Just give this cat its speace?
    Maybe after I feed it enough it will naturally begin to like me. :/

    Depends on this cats experiences with us humans? Get it to gradually trust you by giving it ( Him? Her? ) treats at specific times so a routine develops.

    Have you tried stroking this cat?

    Good idea. Give her some cat nip, after she is addicted, withhold her next fix, then she is mine. Muahahahahaha!!

    I'll get some treats.

    It is great that this stray has made his home at the hotel I work at. We feed him every day. He lounges at the door to greet our guests. Everytime I leave he jumps out of nowhere to get some attention. Then follows me to my car. We are worried that someone may try to harm him, since he is an all black cat. Sick crazy people.

    yeah. not sure to what extent. but it does exist. I've heard stories.
    Especially around Halloween. Plus the fact that I live in a college town and that Halloween is definitely a drinking holiday.
