    They do not have to have been written in 2008.
    They do not have to have been recorded in 2008.
    They do not have to have been used in a film/TV show or game in 2008.

    They just have to have been released in 2008. wink

    25 clips, most (if not all) from well known scores. I've tried to make it a little harder by picking cues that wouldn't pop into mind instantly if you thought of a score (something quiet from Brian Tyler for example).

    1 point for guessing the correct score and 1 point for guessing the composer(s), and as it's incredibly hard, 10 points for anyone who can guess number 16 (5 for score, 5 for composer). 60 points in total!

    The game will run until 6PM next Sunday (18th).

    Hints:

    01. An involuntary extended contract beyond the time of discharge.
    02. The only shots fired during the 19th September coup d'etat were by the effects crew.
    03. The main actor in this film had previously played the same character in a stage show.
    04. Real Russians were hired for this movie to ensure thier accents were accurate.
    05. The first movie was "physically a walk in the park" compared to this one for the star actor.
    06. It's the end of the world as we know it!
    07. Bellow! Holler! Outcry! Yell!

    09. Biggest opening weekend. Ever.

    I know that. Srsly. Despite how automatically-self-evident it might seem to be, there are actually few of us who are familiar with all the 2008 scores, at least that's the impression i got from peoples' comments. Let's see how many will participate without hints tongue

    Ha, I was going to do exactly the same game. I look forward to playing, though I hope there aren't too many actual 2008 scores since I wouldn't remember most of them a few seconds after playing them, let alone a few months!

  24. Well, I've had a listen and all the clips have shown me is that I haven't listened to any of my 2008 scores as closely as I should have - I only recognise 1 clip for sure. A few composers are suggested from 1-2 others. But other than that...
