What's your favourite vegetable?
-
- CommentTimeJan 22nd 2009
Tonight's survey is an important one indeed.
Essential: name your favourite vegetable.
Optional: draw a picture of it and upload it to Photobucket (or similar) and share it with the rest of the group.
My favourite vegetable: it's quite simple really. The good old garden pea. -

Phwoar, I'd have to go with Kelly Brook too. FUCK.
My second favourite? I suppose that honour would have to go to the humble (aren't they all?) parsnip. -

I remember I caused that uproar.
Since then, tomatoes are still considered as fruits. Like it always has been.Kazoo -

And my favourite fruit: gooseberries! What do you hear? Nothing but the rain... -

Oh yes, that's a great idea for a survey! I'll leave it for tomorrow, though - don't want too many treats in one night. -

I admit to liking broccoli especially in an omelette also filled with cheese. I don't just buy the crowns and will cut the stalks off, trim them and eat them raw like celery. My doctor has told me it is a fairly complete food and encourages me to eat it daily.

Yes, I like broccoli. I always found it hard to cook properly - so easy to overdo it and end up with it being too soggy - but fortunately someone bought us vegetable steamers last year. Life hasn't been the same since! -

Asparagus is a real treat. I like red bell peppers too.
Tomatoes are best warm. Broccili is very nutritious. And I love salads. -

My doctor kiddingly told me she would be very happy if I lived on broccoli and bottled water
