I have heard it and enjoyed it too. But it has been a while since I listened to it and would need to hear it again to comment on it thoroughly.

It is quite dramatic: string ostinatos and gutsy string lines. It is a strings-heavy score, particularly in the low strings.

But the strings are well supported by woodwinds and piano.

Not an action score by any means. But I do particularly remember the ostinato tracks - quality stuff.

The quieter, more reflective tracks do have a hint of Pärt but this is not a dominant sound.

I hope it lives up to the hype!

The thematic material isn't as good. But that is not a negative statement because the theme for the previous score is just pure class.

Panu Aaltio's score for The Home of Dark Butterflies, released on CD by MovieScore Media in 2009, received a lot of acclaim from fans and critics alike. Didn't you listen to your IFMCA promo, Tom? For shame!

I thought it was fantastic, and I highly recommend it. It's heavily sample-based unfortunately (probably for budgetary reasons), but the composition is excellent and he does a lot with very little.
