  1. Hey Sylvos, no midi. And since it's a demo version, I can't save the music. I could probably recontruct 90% of it, but I just lack the will.

It's taken four symphonettes inbetween, but we're finally there.

And interestingly, the chord progressions sound like Hans Zimmer, but it's his best piece now!

I think it's an improvement. The initial Asian sounding section was good but after that the piece just seemed to be a random array of orchestral arrangements that didn't really lead anywhere (though the percussion was nice). Try to build up melody and harmony as you go along because that is what gives the pieces much of their strength.

Some impressive synths there. What do you use?
  6. Well, FL Studio 8 came (or is it 7...) with some bad, some cheesy, and in some cases, plain missing instruments, so since I downloaded it I have been on the hunt for free SF2's (I don't mean "Free" as in illegally downloading purchasable ones), so I've run the gambit searching. If anybody wants to know psecifically where something came from, I'll be happy to tell you where it's from and likely be able to give you a link to get the SF2.

  7. SoundFont file. Some kind of a Sound Blaster Live sample, which you can add to MIDI instruments.

  11. Just finished a cue for a superhero short film's trailer. It's a rough cut and the mixing isn't done, but when it goes online -- and my music is used -- it's most certainly going to be linked here.

  12. Okay, trailer is going to be re-edited and will need a new peice of music, so here is the peice I did for the first trailer:

  13. The first notes are a Hans Zimmer rip off, then it turns chaotic and rather not too good.

Whomever he listens to clearly isn't making much of an impact. So yeah, I'd say it is.

Even the whole piece had a Zimmer ish feel to it. The opening notes were like the Burning Bush (three notes is three notes, but the intent is similar). The irony of this situation has made my day...

I could write a better piece of music.

I wouldn't say that unless you have some back-up.
