David Arnold - Independence Day (second copy)
John Williams - The Empire Strikes Back (2cd) for 5 euros (I've seen the film, but never heard the score on cd)
Somehow it's kind of amusing to see some very mainstream scores in Joep's list of purchases.
Good ones!
Bought last night:
Christopher Gordon - On The Beach & other scores compilation
Ok, I'll take the Christopher Gordon plunge. -

I bought this the other week for the first time. You'll love it - it's excellent all the way through! -

Picked up:
Highlander: Best of Fantasy performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic
War! and Sci-Fi from the Silva Treasury collection also performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic.
The Pursuit of Happyness by Andrea Guerra
Atonement by Dario Marianelle
Teen Titans: Trouble In Tokyo by Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys Volume 2 by Joseph LoDuca
Blazing Saddles by John Morris
Star Wars: The Corellian Edition by John Williams
Star Wars: The Clone Wars by Kevin Kiner
Cats & Dogs by John Debney
and a few others that i have problably missed...
Mixed bag of goodies here...some I really like a lot, others not quite so much.---- Well, I wouldn't argue that it wasn't a no holds barred, adrenaline fueled thrill ride. But, there is no way you can perpetrate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork. -

Well, it does seem as though anything goes these days? It wasn't long ago that someone got prosecuted for Dolphin bothering. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

I'm going to buy Eagle Eye from Colosseum (as I want it as early as possible!), but I need to order something else with it otherwise it's not worth the shipping cost. I don't know what though. -

I am also suppose to be getting a copy of She (DVD). I liked the score so much as you know that I felt I owed it to myself to get a copy.

There weren't. I ordered it from SAE back when El Cid and She were on pre-order. So I've been waiting a while for that one. I wasn't in a hurry. There's always too much to listen to.A butterfly thinks therefore I am -

For all of the hype, low quantity alerts, selling out, disappointed customers I'll be very curious as to your opinion. I didn't buy it but do have the older Bay Cities set of Fielding which doesn't have all of the cues but most of them.

Just in:
El Cid (the monster 3 CD set) - Miklos Rozsa (yay!)
She - Max Steiner
Cinderella Liberty - John Williams
Still to come:
Shaft (the box)
The Four Musketeers (expanded) - Lalo Schifrin (I *love* this score!)
Heartbeeps - John Williams (never a priority, but the low stock alert got to me )
Boy On A Dolphin - Friedhofer (Never having been partial to any Friedhofer I'd heard before, I was sure I'd let this one slide...until I listened to the sound clips. What a lovely score!)'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

Oh man! I thought those scores could be had at Amazon for $1 or $2 but checked now and saw the real prices are more than $10. Those are excellent deals you got. -

But on Amazon they also charge shipping costs don't they? I just incidentally bumped into them at a secondhand shop, as is the case with most of the stuff I buy. -

Yes. And I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would from the Guess The Score game a while back.
The sad truth of the mater is that at the end of the day, no matter how hard I try, Barry in general simply does not gel with me.

Nope. New CDs. So those're expanded releases of course!
Unfortunately, Thailand branch of EMI was shut down a few months ago, so short of buying online, I don't expect to find other Bond titles for a while. -

Eagle Eye and The Matrix Deluxe Edition. The first from Colosseum (I want it ASAP) and the second from Varese (as it's like half the price!). Why do I have to pay 8% ''California Tax'' though? -
