Can't go wrong with Barry (Beyondness of Things), Delerue (Tours du Monde...) and Morricone
I'll throw in a Morricone not mentioned before-

    I Guardiani del Cielo
Un'Avventura Romantica: I think this was played over the desert wedding scene in the movie
I Due Fratelli: similar theme as above but wordless vocals instead of the fluttering flutes

If I ever get married, I would probably go with something from A.I. or "Ada Plays" from Cold Mountain or "Execution" or another track from Anna and the King.

Other suggestions for stuff to play during the reception:

    Angel by Philippe Rombi
Dave Grusin Now Playing Solo Piano or "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" from his Orchestral Album
    Softer tracks from Rob Roy
    Pride and Prejudice by Marianelli
Children of Dune - Inama Nushif or Farewell
    Painted Veil - River Waltz
Love Actually - Glasgow Love Theme
Haunted - Juliet's Theme or end title
East of Eden - Finale (from the Charles Gerhardt Conducts the Film Music of Lee Holdridge)
How to make an American Quilt - Quilting Theme
Little Women - Under the Umbrella
    Possession - Possession end title
  1. How about the lyrical wedding music from the "Dynasty" pilot by Bil Conti?

  2. I guess Barry, Delerue and Morricone are expected safe picks

Why not pick music underscoring romantic marriage moments?

My Best Friend's Wedding by Newton Howard has a wonderful soft piano/string moment that I feel is spot on
    waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh

    Big day is June 28th...

Listening to Meet Joe Black this evening, I wish there was a three-minute condensed version of that finale. What a stunning piece!
  5. You can edit that finale down. Just use from the soft piano solo until it all gets quite again. There's a big long quite place in the middle. Incidentally, our second child is due the day you get married!

La La Land Records, in comparrison, has had a constant stream of leaks for about a year now. Do they ever get angry? MV Gerhard never shows it. Instead, they confirm, answer questions (happily, I might ad), and sell a ton of CDs.
