MovieScore Media to enter the "Devil's Tomb"
MovieScore Media has signed a deal with The Bubble Factory to release Bill Brown's darkly textured orchestral score for the Cuba Gooding Jr. action thriller The Devil's Tomb. Brown, who is best known for his prolific output in video games (Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Undying, Command & Conquer: Generals etc), recorded the orchestral parts in Prague, and the music also also incorporates choral elements, pounding rhythm programming and atmospheric eletronics. The film was released on DVD on May 24 and is directed by Jason Connery. MovieScore Media's album comes out on CD and download on July 14.

I liked the sample!
Congrats for yet another excellent release. Bill Brown was the man responsible for making me realize that game music COULD ALSO ROCK, with his old but equally impressive score for Tom Clancy's RAINBOW SIX and its infectious main themes!Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Bill Brown, a composer who is best known for his prolific output in video games (Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Undying, Command & Conquer: Generals etc), has written a dark and exciting orchestral score for Jason Connery's action thriller The Devil's Tomb, starring Cuba Gooding Jr, Ray Winstone and Ron Perlman.
With the orchestral parts recorded in Prague, the music also also incorporates choral elements, pounding rhythm programming and atmosepheric eletronics. Providing a rich canvas for the composer, the film called for dark and ambient orchestral textures, driving action ostinatos and mysterious, quasi-religious material.
The film was released on DVD on May 26.
