Listening to the "Psycho" suite performed by two guitars is 'worth the price of admission' for this CD. And I'm just getting started!!! "All About Eve" would have brought that big grin to A. Newman's face as well as the rest of the Newman family. My first listen gives this a resounding thumbs up. A glass of wine, subdued light, and "Wuthering Heights," another Newman classic spells romance. More later my friends.

I still haven't got my copy.
I'm deeply and sorely disappointed as I wanted to be a trailblazer, and now I'm just plodding behind. sad

having another listen to this recording and I'm enjoying it more. The harmonica playing of Tiomkin themes by McKelvy is superb.

    Mine's still not in. sad

I did order it together with another CD, so maybe that one wasn't out yet?

  2. Martijn:

I checked with the "powers that be". There is another CD (not mine) that they have not received yet so it is possible that that second CD is holding up the shipment of mine to you. What is the name of the 2nd CD you ordered - I can check if it is in yet to ship.

Yeah, I figured it was that. I wasn't really worried, I just hoped I would have it now.
But honestly I'm happy to be patient. smile

The other CD was Dracula A.D. 1974 (yeah, it's an oddball combo shame )

Many thanks for all your efforts, Gregg: it's truly above and beyond. wave

It has a kitch value Tom.

What's it like Martijn, I remember it being a very 70's score, kind of swinging and big band with some psychedelia thrown in!?
