Some interesting modern film music soup here, of the unoriginal kind; unsurprisingly.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
  2. Some tracks will hit you very hard after watching the whole thing.

I tell you, those were terrific five days.

Indeed, that might change if i decide to watch the whole thing too; on CD it's nothing new though.

I loved it. Definitely the best of Torchwood I've seen yet. They dosed it quite right, keeping it tense enough for all days. Even a major wtf-moment at the end of day 4. Not everyone was equally happy about it... but I guess it fits the darker theme of the show (compared to Dr. Who).

The music? I like it. It sounds like Ben Foster has found the right sound for the series. The previous CD was a bit of a mish-mash of different styles, but nothing very original. The new one is a strong, uninterrupted steam train going from start to end, visiting back some of the themes of the characters and variations on a new theme; the children of earth theme. Not bad, not five stars good, but definitely not bad!
What do you hear? Nothing but the rain...

The BBC aired the five episodes back-to-back on five nights of the same week. Each episode is one hour long (without commercial beaks) and tells the ongoings of one day of a five-day crisis.

I saw the whole thing again yesterday, with a couple of Torchwood fans, and on Blu-Ray, which was actually my first ever Blu-Ray experience, complete with big flat screen TV and superior sound, and hell, was I blown away by it, again. This is very, very good british television, and the score really hit us hard at the exactly right moments, and not only because it was loud as hell.

I´m seriously considering selling stuff to be able to afford a Blu-Ray player and a new TV. ^^
