I can see how the uniform my father wore could have confused you.
On a side-note, world news are really terrible and ominous for the near futureLove Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

It's getting to that time of year again. Selection boxes have been in the shops for weeks, there's the publication of the Christmas Argos catalogue and sofa shops are confirming that they can deliver before Christmas if you buy their product NOW!
So what's everyone getting in terms of film music?
I'll be getting a Kritzerland double header: Billion Dollar Brain/The Final Option and Inspector Clouseau - though Anne doesn't know this yet so shhhh!

I went out to the corner store on Halloween night and they were just trading the pumpkin for artificial snowflakes and lights. Now that's called good marketing! -

here in germany, you can already buy christmas stuff since september. totally stupid. -

It annoys me each year except this year... Perhaps because it was actually cold and dark this week?
Besides, time is flying. I have the feeling it will be december 1st within no time...
By the way, I'm talking about all the lights, not christmas stuff. They are just wintery lights, not Christmas lights per se. OK, there is a huge falling star of lights at our mall... but I like that one. -

I don't either, usually.
But I've ordered those CDs already and they'll be here soon. And I'll have to hand them over unplayed, to be put away for a few weeks, wrapped, exchanged, unwrapped...well, you know the rest.

The day after Halloween seems to be the key day to start the Xmas stuff in the US. Of course the big shopping day is the day after Thanksgiving, some say their biggest sales day.

Got this new release in the mail today from Naxos. If Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt were alive it might very well be how they would have played these classic tunes. I enjoyed the first listen to it immensely.

People are too busy talking about Avatar to think of Christmas!
It was way too early to keep the Kritzerland doubleheader wrapped up until this coming Friday.
But the recent Kritzerland Bernstein CD featuring Love With The Proper Stranger & A Girl Named Tamiko HAS been wrapped up.The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

I just got a tree in.
I really didn't (and don't ) have the time for it (how in hell am I going to find the time to decorate it), but for the whole day I'm having this Sod It feeling, so I just went along with it.
Didn't get myself any Christmas pressies though. Maybe I should...only two more shopping days... God, I love commercialism!'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

I'm settled in my hometown Grimstad for the Christmas with my entire family present. Should be a nice, traditional Christmas. And with the cold we've had recently, it looks to be a white one too. Love it!I am extremely serious. -
