It's always fun to know trivial facts...
Let's share interesting facts about families or relatives of film composers.
Mainly about their musical contributions, not gossips!
- Mai, Joe Hisaishi's daughter, sang the "lan lan lala lan lan lan" song on Nausicaa when she was four years old. She's now a solo singer, and her vocals are heard on several albums by her father (Image albums of Mononoke and Ponyo, soundtrack of Welcome to Dongmakgol). She performed at the last year's Ghibli concert too.
- Patrick's daughter Abigail Doyle provided vocals on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Underwater Secrets). She also often assists her father's works. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1155068/
- Suzanne Zimmer, Hans' wife provided the sexy (
) vocals on The Holiday with Imogen Heap.
- Joseph Williams, a former member of TOTO and the singing voice of Adult Simba on The Lion King, is John Willam's son. He also scored several movies.
- Film composer Joel Goldsmith is of course Jerry's son.
- No need to mention The Newman Family.

Peter Bernstein, Elmer's son, is a film composer in his own right.
Zoe Poledouris, Basil's daugher, allegedly composed a tune for CONAN when she was just an infant, and also appears with her band in STARSHIP TROOPERS.
Andrea Morricone, Ennio's son, has also composed a couple of film scores, if memory serves (even some with his father?).
How about the film composing brothers Jeff and Mychael Danna?
Isn't Schifrin's son also involved in film composing?
And I believe film composer Ryan Shore is the nephew of Howard?
In Norway back in the 40's and 50's, we had something as rare as a married film composer couple, quite high-profile too, named Maj and Gunnar Sønstevold. Gunnar provided the score for one of Norway's best films of all time, NINE LIVES, which was even Oscar-nominated.I am extremely serious. -

John Powell's son Oliver provided vocals on United 93.
Michael Giacchino has written cues containing choir that are chanting his kids names. -

Ashley Revell (I think a guy) has worked on some of Graeme Revell's scores in the passed five years or so.
Tom Scott is the son of Nathan Scott (might be mixing up the wrong Scott here). -- both composers in their heydat during TV good (and extremely busy) years.
And back on Bernstein again, let us not forget Emillie A. Bernstein, who has orchestrated on some of Elmer's scores, done other work, and has composed scores too, as I recall.
