Nothing much. Just a random "let's all gang up on Thor because he dislikes C&C releases" thread. Business as usual at FSM, in other words. smile (although the first post was actually a friendly and constructive post with "heart").

There's a good deal of information there but it comes with a lot of ego tussles and personal attacks. It goes with the First Law of soundtrack collecting.

Thor I've not forgotten your CD. The lines at the P.O. are an hour wait and I've got to go to there because of the declaration form.

You can always use Google translator, even though the English will turn out weird. But still understandable enough to get the gist of it. Here's the Google-translated page of the article:

Great article, Thor! Serious, insightful criticism on film music is otherwise a sorely lacking element in most film journalism. I really, sincerely enjoy reading your work.

My favourite part of the article. This is why I often have trouble seeing the blockbuster films that are pouring out of Hollywood these days. One glance at the composer's name is all it takes for me to decide that a film is not worth seeing. It is prejudice perhaps, but that is how I feel.

I agree that John Powell is a great talent.

    * Criticism from conservatives because a) sound is considered wallpaper and b) Zimmer clones
    * Excellent platform for up-and-coming talents, esp. Powell
