I just finished listening to her lovely score to Caótica Ana, I would recommend it to you all, if you enjoy the understated dramatic use string and choir.

    Pook must-haves:

EYES WIDE SHUT, her finest moment to date. Sublime.
    THE MERCHANT OF VENICE

I hear that the last project that got a release, with the hot cover with the babes and the title i can never remember, is also very interesting.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

    Habitación En Roma, good score.
  1. Was CAOTICA ANA ever on sale?
(Same director as HABITACION EN ROMA, btw.)

    Hmmm? Never heard of him?
    What did he do?

I tend to like Spanish cinema, so I'd be interested to learn more.

  2. SEX AND LUCIA, THE RED SQUIRREL, TIERRA, LOVERS OF THE ARTIC CIRCLE.

Alberto Iglesias used to be the composer of choice, and it was a shame to see that collaboration end. Still, they might have done all they could togheter.

    From IMDB:

Otto and Ana are kids when they meet each other. Their names are palindromes. They meet by chance, people are related by chance. A story of circular lives, with circular names, and a circular place (Arctic Circle) where the day never ends in the midnight sun. There are things that never end, and Love is one of them.

Trust me, great, great movie (and music). I love it. Every movie by this director is pure cinema.

  3. He has been getting closer and closer to a cinema based on pure nudity however...

    Ah, now I'm getting interested.
  4. The discerning cineaste then should judge a book by its cover and seek out SEX AND LUCIA.

Great composer with such a heart and flare in his music.

    Indeed.
The title is utterly congruent with the content.

And yet it's quite a good -if unevenly paced- film.
