What I do is correlate prices with Amazon, the major outlets (SAE, Intrada, Varese) and Soundtrackguide.net to find "reasonable" prices.

But, as with any niche market product, at the end of the day it's just what anyone's happy to give you that determines the price. So do your homework (through the sites I mentioned) so you're prepared for any negotiations, but don't pin yourself down too much.

    Rule of thumb:
    - OOP, jack up your price.
    - In print: very small chance you'll get more than 5-8 bucks for any CD.

It's also not just a matter of finding how much they're worth based on the supply (OOP vs. In Print), but also gauge the demand.

For example, the one price in your whole list that I think is probably much too high is Batman. Sure, you can't get much more classic than that, and it's definitely worth $8, but then again it's SO classic that pretty much everyone already has it. So no one's looking for it. Any new collector who actually doesn't have it will dive right for a $1 copy he can find on eBay, not yours. So super-popular things like that (Titanic, Braveheart, Batman) that everyone already has, you might want to aim way wayyyy low. I notice that very principle when I look through my CD supplier's prices.

I've recently been trying to sell off a bunch of my CD's myself (still am, in fact....see list at the Market Place area), and my experience is that the interest is very low for most of them all over the net. Probably due to a saturated market, first and foremost.

So I've dumped my prices to about 1/4 of what I once paid for them (sometimes even further reduced), and even that is difficult.

So by comparing your list and mine, and by the relative availability of the items, I would say that you are SLIGHTLY on the expensive side. I started out about your level, but have since been forced to reduce them to about half that.
    I am extremely serious.

Are you selling these? Some of them you must be your favourites since you used them for your videos. I wouldn't sell these. smile

It's just a Plan X (or Project X even?) if I decide that I just want the music and not the CDs.

Why? Did you change your original question (about a hypothetical sale)? Or are you now actually selling?
Anyway, I refer to my original answer, which I think still holds as true as it did six months ago.
