Make sure you buy McNeely's Terminal Velocity if you don't already have it. Awesome score. "Cadillac Freefall" is one five minute action cue that gives Silvestri a run for his money! -

Thanks, Erik!
I'll put a plug in for Delerue's Rich in Love. That's an album that is gorgeous at every moment (as opposed to some of his scores that have one beautiful theme and not much else). -

I'd buy LONDON SESSIONS vol.3 from that list.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Not bad. Unfortunately, shipping increases the cost slightly out of my price league, since none of them are must-haves.
I would have loved TWO MOON JUNCTION, in particular. Maybe THE DARK HALF, if it's in Young's "delicious darkness" mode.I am extremely serious. -

I wasn't very impressed with Two Moon Junction, myself. It's still new for me, maybe I just need to give it more chances.''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me -

I just realized that Rachel Portman's War of the Buttons is on that sale list. If there's a single item that's worth getting at discount, it's THAT one! It's one of my absolute favourite Portman scores.''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me -

I have a couple of cues on a compilation, and I just adore those moody, ethereal synthscapes. It's very much my kind of music, but I can see how it may not appeal to everyone.I am extremely serious. -

Yes... and they are phenomenal! The Hollywood '95 album is spectacular... especially the recording of "That Hamilton Woman" by Miklos Rozsa. And Hollywood '96 has the best rendition of Alan Menkin's "Sanctuary!" from The Hunchback of Notre Damn.
Man... this would make a perfect subject for my radio show. Can't wait to get this new site launched.

Very VERY thoughtful recommendations Erik. I agree with everything (well except the compilations, but that's just because I hate all compilations, just a quirk of mine).
It'd be hard to single out a single recommendation from your adroit recommendations, but from all these I'd have to say my own favourite would have to be The Adventures of Huck Finn. I think there are only two other Bill Conti scores I like more than this one, and neither of them are available from SAE for $5, that's for sure!! So get this one while you can!''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me
