    Since Tom started a thread about the National Football League, I thought I would create one for the National Hockey League, since I know there are at least two people who like hockey on this board (Erik and I).

    How many of those "NL"s are there? How on earth do you keep them apart!

    NHL = Hockey
    NBA = Basketball
    MLS = Soccer (European Football)

    There is also the national baseball league, but forgot the exact abbreviation right now. smile

    Hockey has also lower leagues - AHL and CHL, same for NBA, not sure about NFL.

    Hockey is huge in Sweden, but not really in Norway. We're simply not good enough to warrant any national interest. We're usually among the best in the world when it comes to winter sports, but somehow falter in hockey. So I won't even follow international hockey, much less AMERICAN hockey.
    I am extremely serious.

    Tom - you do realize that Boston lost the first two games of their first round series only to come back in win in 7. While Vancouver is out playing Boston at this moment anything could happen.

    This is such a Jekyll-Hyde series. In Boston the Bruins rule 17-3 and yet have a difficult time scoring in Vancouver.

    I say the Canucks win 2-1. They will lead 1-0 going into the third. They score another one half way through the period (I say the Sedin's wake up and do the scoring) and then Boston will make it interesting by scoring their one and only goal with a few minutes left in the game to set up another fantastic finish!
