    Green yeah i love that. And we miss green here...both the grass and tree like green, but mainly the printed green.

    I remember when I was in Malta, hardly any greenery around anywhere! I couldn't do that. The typical UK scene can have hundreds if not thousands of shades of green!

    When I have been in Morocco I have always stayed by the coast. But even there it's not green. Not red either though.

    Cyprus has the same scenery as Malta.

    I'm really not sure Alan as I've never had a thermometer on me, Death Valley was VERY hot and particularly as it was the hottest summer California had had in 10 years but somehow it's a reasonably comfortable heat because it's dry. The most uncomfortable I've EVER been was Agra ( famous because this is where the Taj Mahal is ), the heat and humidity were truly unbearable, I've been in hot jungles that were more comfortable.

    I like your thinking D beer ...and yes, the women in Italy are very hot.

    The women in Bolivia were incredible, there's a whole J-Lo gene thang going on there and Miami, Florida was overflowing with fit girls.

    Oh Dear!

    I never flew with this airline but had done that journey several times, unfortunately NEPAL has a very poor air safety record as I'm sure D would know.

  18. I seem to have spent most of the day driving up to Scotland, but there was one plane-related story to brighten the trip.

    Whilst on a really straight bit of the M74 I could see ahead, in the distance, something 'hovering' above the carriageway. Flashing lights seemed to confirm my suspicion that it was a helicopter - perhaps a police helicopter indicating a problem ahead.

    Hell no!

    The object was getting larger and larger, not because I was getting closer (well, I was I suppose), but because it was approaching me at a much quicker pace! Apparently, a Tornado* jet was using the motorway as a guide and was bearing down on me. It must have only been a few hundred feet off the ground when it went screaming overhead. Nice view!

    *I am assuming that it was a Tornado. It certainly looked like a Tornado. And it sounded like a Tornado. So it must have been a Tornado.

  20. It had the large square air intakes and the wings were "open". I am pretty sure it was a Tornado.
