"A rousing score by Guy Michelmore is the real star of JACKBOOTS as it beautifully captures the stiff upper-lip Bulldog spirit of iconic British war movies and perfectly evokes the music of Ron Goodwin".- Screen International

"Guy Michelmore's splendid 633 Squadron-style soundtrack." Sky Movies

"Brilliant, galvanising scoring of Guy Michelmore, which not only carries you through these segments on a wave of classic war movie nostalgia but also helps generate an emotional response to the facially limited puppets in key scenes." - Eye for Film

Here is one of the most hilarious scores - and films - of this year! Guy Michelmore (Ultimate Avengers, The Invincible Iron Man, Planet Hulk, Doctor Strange, Frozen) has whipped up a wonderfully tongue-in-cheek, old-school orchestral action score that recalls the best of British WW2 film scores of the 1950s and 1960s - with just a little dash of modern instrumentation.

Complete with a rousing and heroic main theme march, Jackboots on Whitehall features a score that had to carry a lot of the dramatic and emotional qualities throughout the story due to the limited 'acting' of the film's plastic mannequins.

Our CD features over 60 minutes of music with a lot of exciting action scoring, always with that charming nod to film music history, exquisitly performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic. Not to be missed! CD release co-incides with the theatrical release of the film in the UK.
