Any idea what's "extra special" about it?

    It has extra tracks.

Harkit Records released this title back in 2006 which itself featured extra tracks not found in an earlier LP release. This new release (again from Harkit Records) contains an additional 7 tracks.

The extra tracks don't seem to add much to the release already available - just a couple of variations on a theme, two tracks of "Flight of the Bumble Bee" and what seems to be 2 tracks of "broadcast episodes" (not sure if this is just music or full audio.)

Billy May did far better work than what this CD has to offer. He did Naked City (TV), and was a fine arranger for Sinatra and the Boston Pops
    listen to more classical music!

His Fuzzy Pink Nightgown is a good example of what he has to offer. Great orchestrator.
