I wasn't gonna say as I didn't want to seem uncharitable, but now that you brought it up yourself: YEAH, it certainly is! (That's why I gave up composing a LONG time ago: whatever I did, it ALWAYS came out as John Williams in the end...). That said, I can imagine far worse inspirations than Mssr. Powell: I love him when he's doing his quirky, jaunty bit, and you certainly got that style aspect down pat in your lovely little piece!

If it's not quantifiable or qualifiable, it's not there, Tom. That's good science.
