i like all 8 scores. the orchestral stuff by giacchino and lennertz is great, but i also like the middle-eastern music by djawadi. the orchestra and the choir are amazing in the WWII scores, but for me the interaction of the solo instruments and the solo vocals in ramins score are amazing too. i like the tone of that score. i don't care about simple themes or simple orchestration. on cd the most important aspect for me is the sound of the music. but i have to say, that christopher lennertz has composed in European Assault the best main theme of the whole series.

i'm glad, that they release all medal of honor scores in this box. djawadi's score is different, but i like his music for the game. all 3 composers did a good job in their own way. all scores have good themes, good instrumentations and their music creates a good atmosphere in the games. this box is a fantastic release.

Let's correct a few wrong choice words. All the score except Djawadi's effort have GREAT themes and GREAT instrumentation. Yes, Djawadi's is different and services the game well... I guess... but it's the black sheep of the Medal of Honor family and not having it in this box set wouldn't have upset me.

It looks like a great set but I'm getting to a point where too much music is exactly that, too much music!

I'd be happy with a "best of" with selections done by Erik & Anthony.

We have a picture of that moment. Anthony was clearly shocked, I was saying "fuck!" and Marcel visibly can't hold his disappointment and had to hold the table or he would have collapsed.

Makes me wonder, why didn't we print that interview! shocked

I am not a fan of Djawadi. I just like what he did for MOH. As for Lennertz, he still hasn't produced anything to really touch me and all those comedy parody stuff he produces is simply not for my tastes; but i haven't heard his Haiti project initiative yet.

You really have to start listening to Lennertz's early stuff. Don't judge him solely on the garbage films he has been working on lately... however, in saying that, he has produced some excellent music for those films.

One of the most inspiring scores he has written was early on in his career called America with, IMO, the best cue he has ever written "True Inspiration." Go to his web site - http://www.christopherlennertz.com - and listen to the 18th track in the jukebox player on the front page. Gorgeous stuff.

His video game work is exemplary; MOH and Gun come to mind. Superb scores.

His gothic treat Saint Sinner was one of my favorite scores in 2002. I really wish Beer Money would get released. If you liked Paul then Beer Money will be up your alley.
