People are really gathering everywhere. Is it different from Greece D?
Take a look at this. Barcelona downtown (Plaza Catalunya):

Well, a revolution in a democratict context....but I had never seen anything like this in Madrid before (except the anti Irak invasion demonstration in 2003).Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

This -more than anything- looks like the "protests" in the former Sovjet Union after teh Jeltzin take-over, with people harkening back to the "good old days" of Stalin, when at least everything was clear and organised.
I can see groups of people moving, but there's no goal or incentive to proper change.
Unless they let go of the old values (voting for the Communists again? Come ON! Hello 1955!), and tere is some proper shift in the organisation and goals of the existing parties, NOTHING will change. People will get bored and go home again. In which case any proper change (vis a vis inflation and unemployment) will still remain a pan-European issue.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

Brutality against protesters in Barcelona this morning. Ashaming and outrageous.
