  5. I found Vidal's music very boring.

    And after realizing the way he is getting comissioned for the jobs (mom and dad have big pockets) I feel really pissed off that good composers could have lost a chance of offering great film works because Vidal steped into.

    Also about time he moves past the Tyler-isms. This music needs themes to get it airborne!

    I only know him from "the raven", I liked the movie and got the score; pretty decent for a starting out composer. Will keep an eye on his future works.

    He's got a lot of Brian Tyler in him, minus the themes; but some of the above pieces in Cold Light of day where he shows glimpses of thematic potential, are promising. See the rest of the videos they posted from that score's recording sessions smile

    Brian Tyler L.E. takes over fast and the furious franchise.

    Well, mine, and many others' - parallelisms of Vidal with Brian Tyler were very spot-on it seems.
