This has happened to me many times over the years.
Certain film titles make certain song lyrics or titles pop up immediately in my mind.
For example, MAMA immediately triggers the first few bars of the Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody"
ONLY GOD FORGIVES triggers "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys.
NOW YOU SEE ME triggers a specific line from The Alan Parsons Project song "Gonna Get Your Fingers Burned".
DEMOLITION MAN triggers the Sting song.
Etc.
This has happened several other times too, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. In many cases, the songs are not from the movies of the same name or have anything to do with them otherwise.I am extremely serious. -

This is not the thread I hoped it would be. I hoped you would be talking about themes from films where the film title fits perfectly into the rhythmic pattern of the melody - like 633 Squadron.
I've got to be honest and say that my life has never been the same again since I discovered I could sing "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" and it fit the melody from "Parade of the Slave Children" so well. -

You know what I've found? A lot of the James Bond film titles fit well into the melodies of their respective scores! Spooky!!

Nothing comes to mind, but it reminded me this FSM post:
Shaun Rutherford:
I went out with this girl once who completely ruined the main theme for this, so if you don't want to know why, please don't read anything beyond this sentence:
FROSTY THE SNOWMANThe views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -

I can't think of any examples of that, Thor.
But I CAN think of a score's music that sounds so much like another song that it's all I can think about when listening the score. Danny Elfman's OZ score is riddled with "O, Canada." Brian Tyler's PARTITION has a theme that sounds a lot like a particular hymn.

That's excellent! John William's SUPERMAN theme is the same way, but I'm sure everyone knew that. Silvestri's theme from NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM does the same. But neither of those is as cool as the "parade of the slave children."

Oh, and I'll add that Henry Jackman's TURBO often reminds me of the song from GOLDFINGER. (just those three title notes of it) -

And I'm sure Shortround's theme is a counterpoint variation on Darth Vader's...

I think of Neil Diamond's Shilo when I hear Zimmer's Clark Kent/Smallvile theme from Man of Steel. -

- Upstairs, Downstairs - Theme from Titanic
Good ones, although I'm not sure about the "Upstairs, Downstairs" reference?
I see that I'm quite alone in this particular habit, but the other 'links' mentioned here are fine too -- a different topic, perhaps, but that's fine.I am extremely serious. -

Well, the Titanic desaster features prominently towards the end of the original series. Since I whatched the series as little kid that alway stuck with me. Also since this early years I alwasy was a fan of Gordon Jackson.
Interestingly the Titanic desaster also features at the beginning of Downton Abbey. That felt like a nod towards the classis predecessor.Bach's music is vibrant and inspired. -

Is that the english translation of the german translation of "Once upon a time in the west"?
In Denmark "Once upon a time in the west" has a ridiculous title as well. It annoys me when they don't translate directly, and instead make up their own senseless titles.

I don't know that one. I just use nescafe gold crema, with a ton of coffee mate. It's surprisingly delicious.

Yes. I generally prefer black tea to coffee. Mostly I drink a Assam/Cylon mixture, sometimes called "English Breakfast". Or a "Frisian" mixture of Assam and Darjeeling.Bach's music is vibrant and inspired. -
