    Well, it's defenitely not Cliff Eidelman. wink

    I'm not that familiar with his work either. I really like Solaris a lot, and then there are some score which are cool and well made, like Contagion and Drive.

    Two recent scores of his I really liked were Arbitrage and Only God Forgives, I consider him to be the most fresh sounding composer of electronic scores these days, his scores work so well in the movies he takes on, curious as to what they will play.
  1. I find him really frustrating. Often there are a couple of cues from his scores that I really enjoy, so it's not the electronics. It's the fact that he's so goddamn low-key and drony and boring the rest of the time. If he made an entire score out of cues like "Bride of Deluxe" and "Wanna Fight" and "They're Calling My Flight," I'd really like it.

    Granted I haven't heard Solaris which is what most people seem to say is his best score.
