American Gangster really is the odd one out... Nice flow of the score and good mood, but for the rest... confused

I hope THE KITE RUNNER gets the recognition it deserves.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

Why not? Probably about every score gets an academy promo, also the ones that don't get nominated in the end (hold on... wasn't there some kind of new system or something? confused ).
  1. But where's SWEENEY TODD?!?! And I'M NOT THERE?!

    You let us down BAFTA!!!!

Oh, and I'd pick Greenwood out of that bunch. Or Marianelli. I think.

Oh yeah there was....I forget it...no promos because they think film music should only be heard in a film...??

Hmm... No, it had something to do with copying, or something? They only got it digitally? Something like that...

Euch, that sucks if it's the case. But back to my original point - I'm not too fussed as all those scores got releases anyway. lick

Has anyone heard LA VIE EN ROSE?

I love Gunning's work, there's just not that much available out there!

  3. Well, they're not exactly the scores I like now but I prefer to be the winner Alberto Iglesias' The Kite Runner, the mix of ethnic sounds and orchestral music is really good. American Gangster is boring. And I don't know why people love so much Atonement, the only nice thing is the typewriter sound at the beginning and the end dizzy
so many scores... and not enough time... | http://soundtracklist.net

Aside from American Gangster (which I don't know about) that's a very nice bunch of scores! If it was Lust, Caution instead of American Gangster, it'd be friggin' awesome!

La Mome (La Vie en Rose) is just gorgeous! Too bad there's less than 20 min of it on cd.
  4. La Vie En Rose isn't bad... it was a standard kind of drama score. Did rock my world, as they say.
