    Doing okay 'D' when the Parkinson's doesn't act up so I have good and bad days. I'm not sure if all of you heard but with the onset of the Parkinson's coupled with the stroke put me in an assisted living home by my daughter with Hospice to die which of course I didn't do. However, she took my books on film (200) and my CD collection 3000+, and my 1000 movies and through them in the dumpster. If I ask for a score digitally please send it to me I'd sure appreciate it.

    Yeah, it was fun. Cailin's perseverence to play the duduk was strong and she made it. punk

    I can't go on for so long unfortunately. My wife and daughter came home, so I decided to get our daughter to bed and then sleep myself a bit later. I sleep very little these days and am awake very early, independent of when I go to bed, which is frustrating.

    That's understandable, Bregt.

    Thanks a bunch for yesterday. As Alan said, it turned out to be a 7-hour marathon. Got sick when I eventually logged off around 2 at night. But great fun all the way through! Missed a few people; Demetris, Tom etc., but maybe next time. Now I'm so hung over that I need to spend the day in the sofa.

  24. You are all too kind. Highlight if you mean cringeworthy right? Haha! That was sure fun though! To be able to actually play it would be SO cool...maybe that should be my quarantine project this year (not likely). But it’s definitely clear to me why there’s a short list of great duduk musicians in the world!
  25. At one point we were wondering who the duduk player on THE RUSSIA HOUSE was. After a bit of hunting here's what it says in Fred Karlin and Rayburn Wright's 'On The Track' :

    "For his score for Gladiator, Hans Zimmer felt it was vital to use the sound of a specific master of the duduk, Djivan Gasparyan, who lives in Armenia. (Gasparyan also played duduk on Jerry Goldsmith's score for The Russia House.)"
