"Dauntless"
"The Invisible Hours"
(both recorded)
Cris Velasco
Source: a interview from this year with Cris.
He says about "Dauntless":
One is a very aggressive fantasy-type score using some unique instrumentation
Well, that I'd like to hear.
There are no IMDb pages for either game. I'd submitted both in the last few minutes to IMDb.
EDIT: Both IMDb pages are up now.The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -

Expanded Romancing The Stone and Waterworld, you say? -

Romancing the Stone doesn't excite me in the slightest. Waterworld a bit moreso, but that score is pretty repetitive in its complete form, so I'm not sure it will be much of a revelation to most people. -

Romancing the Stone? Never knew that film even existed.
Waterword? Fine score but I'm not sure if much worthwhile material is missing from the original album.

Saw Romancing the Stone again a couple of weeks ago. Fun little sax-driven theme. Not sure if the entire score is worth it, because I only remember the theme.
I'd much rather have The Postman complete than Waterworld but I'm sure it will be amazing, because this is a supreme JNH composition during his most creative period."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

It can be but I love sax when it's used excellently. Herrmann's Taxi Driver and John Barry's Body Heat are both brilliant in its use.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Not a fan of the the artwork for Waterworld expanded...
Should've used this instead as a base."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

Ah, Barry's body heat is indeed the only sax score that comes to mind which is gorgeous to me. And some Delerue here and there I think, but can't recall titles now.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

It's funny you mention this because to what kind of place does Travis Bickle take Betsy?"considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

I just ordered my copy of the upcoming re-recording of Rozsa's Ben-Hur by the Fitzpatrick / Prague gang.
Also I saw that an extended release of Shearmur's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow by Creature Feature (through LLL) is coming up. I need to revisit this fine score to decide on a purchase.

Not coming anytime soon; posted today at the FSM forum:
We tried this year, but were turned down. No reason was given. I really, REALLY wanted it out this past May for the 40th Anniversary. We were gonna hype the hell out the release and describe it as a ground breaking film that forever changed the way movies were made. A film celebrating its 40th Anniversary that came out in May 1977 --- and then, of course, announce that it was Smokey and the Bandit. We were even going to look into making 8 track version just for kicks.

Hints and various comments from La La Land Records, over at FSM:
[/Oh, we have some Horner projects in the works. Don't you fret.

In regards to a user asking about TV scores for "Dollhouse", "Banshee" and "Desperate Housewives":
I don't think there is that much a fan base there to warrant a release. TV is tricky and very expense. It needs to be a sure thing. We took a bath on some great TV projects over the years and this one, while wonderful, doesn't seem to fit the LLL checklist for an ideal tv soundtrack release
Sorry
frown
MV
"The Towering Inferno" will not be out by the end of this year.
Another user asked about a possible 2CD set of "Dune" (Toto):
We really hope to some day
Whether there will be any Morricone releases this year:
Yes, but later in the year we hope
On if there will be any Vangelis scores from them:
No, we gave up on trying to make something happen.
And that is all I will say about that subject matter. lol

Also, I never saw much (or any) discussion about scoring on Desperate Housewives when the series was new, so it's deluded for any fan to think a score release for the series might come about now just because of Steve Jablonsky's involvement... -

For you "Golden Age" aficionados that liked The Caine Mutiny, enjoy looking forward to one of our upcoming releases that'll help us wrap up the year with. It's a long-in-production world premiere 4-CD set crammed with just your kind of stuff!
