Wich instrument is played in "Lord Cutler Becket" in the 2:05 minute mark? Is it a buggle? or what?
Sound like trumpets (rather high) to me. It may also be a trombone but I'm not sure about it. -

And Wich is this kind of barroque Harp? And those Crystals? and is there and Slow Piano?
Or could someone give him the complete sheetmusic and instrumental description of those suites? Or, better yet, of Hans Zimmer's career? -

How many Zimmer scores do you consider complex in composition?
This question is not important. There is only good and bad music.
I couldn´t agree more Thomas.
Complexity doesn´t mean good music IMO. Elliott Goldenthal may write the MOST complex music in the WHOLE world, but I can´t stand a single full score listen from him. The opposite side is our dear friend Gustavo Santaolalla: I think we all agree he does not write the most complex music but I´m sure that his FAN loves what he composes.
Well everyone needs a devotee, I suppose.A butterfly thinks therefore I am -

A thought:
The "church sound" that Zimmer has recreated for his Da Vinci Code is splendid. -

Not the first time Zimmer's done that. He scored "Everlasting Piece" for $1.... he just really just does for the fun of it, to just sit with his friends and jam. Personally, I do really enjoy that about Zimmer and his music. -

Any more news about The Dark Knight? Zimmer and Howard will have to do scoring sessions for the film either in late spring or early summer, so they're either starting work now or going to start in the next few weeks.
I know a lot of you guys aren't that enthused with the new theme for Batman, but I think Zimmer will step up to the plate and deliver a better score the second time around. Or will the great score emerge with the third installment?http://unsungfilmscores.blogspot.com/ -- My film/TV/game score review blog -

I like both, as a matter of fact, but I prefer the Batman theme. Sadly it's only there in a couple of tracks on the OST and its grandest performance, at the end of the Credits, is not on the OST (I ripped it off the DVD anyway). Zimmer said the theme will be fleshed out in The Dark Knight. I'm eager to listen to it then -

Lots to choose from, but I've landed on these:
1. BEYOND RANGOON
2. THE ROCK
3. BLACK RAIN
That's right. I had to rid myself of gems like LION KING, CRIMSON TIDE and GLADIATOR!
When I'm going to expand my purchasing limitations beyond Williams, Elfman and Goldenthal, Zimmer is first in line. The last thing I got from him was THE LAST SAMURAI and there are so many great things that have come since that I'm sure I will love - and that may even make their way into my top three list (stuff like the PIRATES scores or THE DA VINCI CODE).I am extremely serious.
