    I wanted to work as an editor of science/educational books, but publishing companies don't employ many people these days, and now I'm more interesting in working on environmental research or education program (museum curator-like job)

  10. Ham, fried egg with red pepper, topped with gruyere cheese on a sesame seed bagel, orange juice and coffee is a nice way to start the day.

    Ah, the advantages of a leisurely breakfast!

    That's why I added the tiniest bit of red pepper to the mix - made the meal balanced.

    Anyway, people don't realise how many calories are used up just thinking.

    Today is our annual alumni game. All for fun of course. No one wants to get hurt but it is fun to see a few of the ones who did make it.

    An alumini game is where the older players who use to play baseball come back for a game. The major league players don't play much for fear of risking injury.

    Next weekend the season begins for real. Today is more of a showcase. It is fun for me because I've watched them over the years.

    It would make a change from your usual kippers. Magnificent though they are, it's always nice to have a little variety.
