Thanks. It's about half and half realistic/movie from my experience, although my costume is period correct, thanks to a friend who researches such things. I hang with the period correct people and do presentations on surgery. However, it mostly involved palling around with drunk people dressed like pirates. In fact, I am going to Key West next week for an event. If you're really curious, you can read my journal of last year's event on-line on my website here. I'd suggest skipping the first few pages of text, but reading the picture captions. The text becomes more amusing about the third or fourth page. (I'm afraid it wasn't really written with soundtrack fans in mind.
