What's with the sudden burst of movies with emphasis on red and/or red and white logos?

Just look at the Apple trailer page currently.

The only 3D-rerelease I'm going to see next year is Titanic! I can't see this movie enough times. love

I'll definitely be going to see Titanic 3D. I already love the film - though mostly on a technical level. It amazes me every time. In fact, I can't think of many other films made before the purely-CGI-era that are as convincing to such an extent.

    Port.
  5. Every aspect of Titanic makes it so that I'm on that ship, on that night, experiencing that very nightmare with those people. It's undeniable proof that Cameron is a fantastic director because of the way he transports me effortlessly to the world in the movie for a couple of hours. He and Spielberg are my favourite directors for this very reason. And also because he's such a perfectionist when it comes to the technical side of his flicks.

I'm not going to see it purely for 3D, but to experience it once again on the big screen. I've only been able to recreate the sound at home.

I don't think I'll go and see it, but I agree with that. (Except perhaps for Jurassic Park.)

Although it's sold as a love story, I see it as an action film - a very well made one at that. The CGI is still special since it was so special back when it was made.

    Starboard.

Maybe I should finally see Titanic then? shame

Though I doubt I'll see it in 3D.
I really only want to see 3D films that have actually been conceived/created and shot as 3D films.
It's -quite literally- too much of a headache already to see "reworked" versions.

If I want reworkings I'll rent one of Clamp Entertainment colourised versions of Casablance ("now with a happy ending").

Well, no, I suppose not. But it's just one of those films that most people have seen, especially people who like movies.

That's almost as bad as not having seen Back To The Future!

Okay, perhaps not that bad. Tell me you've seen Back To The Future? Our friendship depends on it.

Not seen IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, THE SEARCHERS, THE LONGEST DAY and KES (whatever that is). Just a few of the 'essential' films I've managed to miss over the years.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this? The list is films that are considered classics, I've missed out loads that I'm not remembering, I think the point I'm trying to make is to see how many of those films others here have seen and yet give a face-palm-mt because someone hasn't seen TITANIC.
