His The Forbidden Kingdom score was one of the best of the year, so I still consider him very talented.

it's not a brilliant score, but it works incredibly well inside the movie itself, and I love that movie. It's one of the most brilliant Blu-ray releases of all (audio and visual style are top notch)

It seems that David Buckley scored "Book of Dragons", one of the direct-to-video spinoffs of How To Train Your Dragon:

I wonder if he also scored another short "Gift of the Night Fury" or not...

Powell's score is used in the clips, though

From the official David Buckley website

    TGW Album
    April 2014
On June 2nd, CBS Records will be releasing a compilation of music from the first five seasons of The Good Wife, mainly with pieces from season 5. Recorded with a 50-piece orchestra, there will be 20 tracks. Please keep an eye on this website for more details, and check out HITTING THE FAN on the music player, to hear a little bit of what’s to come!

The cue "Hitting The Fan" is really representative of the kind of music that David's been doing since the start of Season 5. Really enjoyable stuff here.
  2. I'm listening to The Good Wife, and I was wondering if anyone here familiar with the show could help me out. Do any of you know which tracks come from which episodes and/or seasons of the show? I'm assuming the first cue ("Theme") is from the first season (i.e. 2009), but beyond that I haven't got a clue - the cue titles don't seem to mach episode titles.

For that matter, can this even be counted as a 2014 score? Man, TV makes things difficult...

I can't help you very much, but I can tell you that the majority of the cues are from season 5. David Buckley didn't start on the show until the 3rd season, I think?
  3. Thanks! Yeah, it seems like mostly a Season 5 album. That still makes half of it technically 2013 music, but sometimes it's healthier just to let these things slide... smile

Yes. But it was released in 2014.
  4. Right. So was La-La Land's expanded The Peacemaker, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a 1997 film and score.
