- Comment I've had four(!) kids since 2007. They do keep me busy. But a year ago I finally finished my doctorate and I haven't been in school for the first time in the last 10 years. So I should have more time. I just haven't been as active online. Depression may have something to do with that. It's harder ...

- Comment I'm excited about that one. This morning I listened to season two of Frederik Wiedmann's THE DRAGON PRINCE. It's pretty good. It's too synthy for me a lot of the time, but the solo instruments help get past that. There are some nice highlights.

- Comment PROJECT X - James Horner My first listen to this score ever. I’m really glad Intrada rereleased it. It’s fun to here the genesis of some of his other scores here (MIGHTY JOE YOUNG clearly got its sound from this one, and even THE ROCKETEER has some of its origins here, I think). He also taps ...

- Comment Thanks for all of these reviews, Alan. I checked out Aurora based on your recommendation. I thought the bookending choral pieces were impressive, but a lot of the rest of the album was not to my liking. I'm afraid I'm too simple a man to find a lot of enjoyment in difficult music :)

Personally one of the best of the year for me, so much fun and had some ripper emotional cues. Do the hip-hop elements ruin the score for anyone? If you haven't revisited it and want a few ...
