- Comment I hear you Filmscoregirl! I miss Horner very much. When his music was exciting it was so good (and so fun). When his music was tender or sad, man, it moved through my very soul! Like no other composer could do really. I'm always happy to hear new scores by James Newton Howard, John Powell, Thomas ...

- Comment The last three Star Wars scores are still very enjoyable. But I'm slowly becoming an old man stuck in his ways. So it'll always be the original trilogy for me. So glad they're finally giving them the full restoration treatment!

- Comment Well, it's all over the shop really. But I'm still loving good ol' Goldsmith, Horner, Williams etc. Plus a few gems from the last couple of years. Loving John Powell, some Elfman, Silvestri. I do enjoy the occasional modern style scores also. Spoilt for choice now days.

- Comment Dark Encounter - David Stone Hamilton This is impressive! A nice surprise. A dash of Signs. A sprinking of Knowing. No Close Encounters sadly. A lot of very interesting orchestral delights found within this gem. Maybe not for everyone though. Along with the recent Solis David Stone ...

- Comment I love almost all Kong scores across the board. The Steiner is monumental. The Barry is fine, if a little plodding. The Scott is pretty good. The Newton Howard is terrific. And the Jackman is serviceable but not in the same league as what towered before it!
