- Comment INDY & THE TEMPLE OF DOOM So Williams went with a chamber orchestra ensemble performing for the sequel to RAIDERS. An inspired choice on paper maybe, but a lot more mellow approach in the writing and with too many flat out dull moments, after only 10 minutes it becomes a real chore to ...

- Comment RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK It's alright. There are better themes by Williams and the action music is a bit derivative but it's perfectly listenable, if a bit overlong. To be honest I've heard better scores that were written this year.

- Comment NIGHT CROSSING - Goldsmith Another one that just barely misses the highest mark, so not 5 stars either. Brilliantly entertaining, with enough energetic cues and breathtaking melodies. The kind that are so hard to come by nowadays.

- Comment The thrill of a new Star Wars film has diminished after TFA being a bit of a letdown. It has a good first half, but a mediocre second half. So if I keep my expectations for this low, I could be pleasantly surprised. That's how it works in my head.
