NP: Porco Rosso - Joe Hisaishi (my another hero)
So... anyone heard this? Every track is excellent! It's my most played album by Hisaishi.
And almost all tracks are "flying music", because it's a story about pilots.Labels are for cans, not people. - Anthony Rapp -

NP:Tomb Raider 2 (Silvestri)
Quite interesting, uh?
Pandora's Box is one of the best dramatic cues ever composed by this composer. -

After reading about it a lot here, I've decided to check out Isham's Fly Me Home soon Right now,
NP: Atlantis - The Lost Empire - James Newton Howard
Just watched the movie for the first time. And IMHO this is a really all-rounder score! A fantastic listen on CD and it totally fits the movie like a glove! And in fact whenever it gets dramatic I've found the music to totally dominate. And in the climax scene, amazing!!

NP: Shadow of the Vampire (Dan Jones)
Splendidly dark score. I love this kind of music. And the penultimate cue - 'Titles' - is wonderful.A butterfly thinks therefore I am -

Body Heat - John Barry
A fine score. Playing the Joel McNeely recording, which I prefer to the original. -

I've been trying to find his score to MAX like forever, with sadly no success at all.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

It was never released. I only heard it in the film, and I thought it was a great little score, with nods to Kurt Weill and Johann Strauss among others.
Mellowdrama Records was meant to release it back in 2006, but all plans for it evaporated, and they haven't brought out a release in 18 months.A butterfly thinks therefore I am -

Twilight Zone: The Movie Jerry Goldsmith
CLASSIC score. Goldsmith's creativity during the 70s and early 80s (perhaps even peaking during the latter part of that 'era') was astounding, and this score is certainly one of the best.
If there was ever one composer who would be best suited to scoring dreams, Goldsmith would probably be my first choice (well, early-80s Goldsmith). -

Don't call Jewish music Hebrew
The tradition of music that we know as the so-called klezmer music is actually more connected to Yiddish-speaking community, since Hebrew as a language was dead for almost 2000 years...
I think we mean the theme from Swamp, for example the violin/clarinet one. Not the source music.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Ah, yes. I meant the main theme, not the Wedding Dance tune, D. -

Nautilus is like a virus. We are all infected. Sorry, it´s too late. We are doomed.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

Any particular reason?
I liked it on my first listen and it's only been growing on me ever since, especially now that I've seen the movie (which I enjoyed more than Casino Royale). I can more than understand why a score of this nature would leave many disappointed, but it's exactly the kind of score I was expecting. And that's a good thing. (Although a stronger main theme wouldn't have gone amiss, or perhaps even reuse the You Know My Name theme since it directly follows on from the end scene in Casino Royale.)
I'm a sucker for Arnold's action writing, new and old. -

Really beautiful stuff. Rombi is a composer I'm happy to have recently discovered. I hope he goes far.
Couldn't agree more. What other Rombi scores do you have? Got Angel yet?
Yes, and I REALLY like it. More than Merry Christmas, I think. Those are the only two of Rombi's I have.

What about the largest portion of the score which isn't action cues? I am genuinely asking 'cause i find it hard to believe that there are people who actually enjoy listening to mindless filler music, except if you don't pay attention to that until the rousing action cues come up or if you made your own playlist.Love Maintitles.
