And I believe that Mikael will be giving it a proper release? Congratulations Mark.

  3. It's funny how this time flew.

Back when I was allowed by Bregt and Demetris to join this esteemed community in beta testing... Well, my life has definitely changed since then. My biggest dream, both as a human being and as a journalist did come true, largely thanks to this website and Bregt. My life has also gone through some changes, though I'd rather discuss them when they are definite, but I am working on a life plan.

Met some friends here, some of them belong to my best friends. I haven't met many MT members live, really, just Thor and Francis on the film music festival in Kraków 2 years ago and some SST guys, who joined this community here.

My film music tastes have expanded greatly as well.

Bregt, Alan, Thomas: thanks so much for the sentiment! Its no easy task to sustain ambitions in film composing in Norway (or anywhere, for that matter), having to deal with both the competition and limited market possibilites. So it's an absolute delight to recieve some recognition once in a while. The experience with MSM has been great, and Mikael is 100% engaged in every detail. I can't wait for the release, which I hope will be well-recieved!

And once again (to end the digression), congratulations to Maintitles.net! smile

Indeed. And the extra challenge is not only that Norway produces a limited number of films per year compared to many other film industries, but also that we have the tendency to import composers from other Scandinavian countries or Europe quite often.

[Oops, I continued the digression a bit]
    I am extremely serious.
