    7.08 - Who writes this crap? How do none of the cast or crew on this show read a script and don't respond "but this is rubbish?". I still don't believe it can get worse than season six, but this is close, and by far the second weakest season there is. suicide

    It definitely has the least amount of decent storylines. At least in previous seasons Jack's stuff was decent and we were lucky to have one or two fairly good subplots. This is just less than average Jack mixed with countless crappy other stories.

    Indeed. The other stories are all rubbish, really, and the Jack stuff is just a bit dull. Perhaps the show's run its course?

    All they need...is new writers! Fresh ideas, and we'd be fine. They wouldn't necessarily need to be GOOD ideas (always a bonus though), but simply something NEW would be welcome.

    The ending of episode eight is exactly the same as episode seven of season 5. Right down to breaking into a container supposedly full of weapons only for them to have already been stolen by a baddie betraying the rest of the group.

    And I cannot believe the Jenny/Dana thing has resorted in her going to a club WITH A GUN. I was laughing about it going down this route the other week saying they'd never take it thist far...but lo and behold.

    Even the torture scene was a complete rehash from season 2/season 5 prequel.

    They've been doing it since season 5, and it's a good laugh when the episodes are bad. Unknowingly they even bring up torture by stringing up and electrocuting by car battery when ranting about something unrelated in the episode 7 review. I can't wait to hear what they about it actually happening an episode later. biggrin

    Make sure you check out the main reviews too. The "24 in 60" segments are included with them.

    They even dedicate about 10 minutes of episode 7 for "The Dana/Jenny/Kevin Show!" and rant about it for ages. biggrin

    I'm going to stop watching until the season finishes and go through them all in one go. Fed up of waiting a week for each disappointing episode.

    Please excuse me while I watch seasons 1, 3 and 5 in the mean time. wink

    It is a bit of a shame we now have more bad seasons than decent solid ones throughout.

    Season 1 - Very good
    Season 2 - Ok, but full of plotholes
    Season 3 - Extremely good
    Season 4 - Poor
    Season 5 - Better than sex
    Season 6 - Poorer than season 4
    Season 7 - Good, but the last six episodes ruin it completely
    Season 8 - God awful

    All I can say is there´s a twist in episode 12 that I am 99% sure you won´t like, although I found the episode the most thrilling so far (even Hastings seems to wake up).
