Can somebody confirm who's scoring Shark Night 3-D? I remember reading somewhere that Powell was doing it, but I can't find anything about it...

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1633356/

    Thanks in advance!
  1. That's what I find, too, in an internet search.

But BMI shows cues by a composer named Grant Innes McLachlan. There's an actress with that last name in the film.

  2. "Dimensions" (recorded)
    Mark Knopfler (and songs)

Knopfler with the LSO? Could be interesting.
  3. LMO, sorry -- edited.

Still, unusual for him to be working with an orchestra, isn't it?

Yeah, I'm an old Dire Straits fan too, although not so much anymore (I still give them a spin once in a while).

I'm not too keen on Knopfler's film music, but some of his songs are very epic (especially from LOVE OVER GOLD), so an orchestral arrangement wouldn't be THAT farfetched.
    I am extremely serious.

I love Knopfler's recent studio albums, particularly The Ragpicker's Dream (as well as the classic Dire Straits stuff). Have only heard a smallish amount of his film music but I love the easy-going nature of it.

It's NOT true. Rabin isn't attached to that movie (source: Trevor himself)

A re-boot? Well I will not be watching. I would not want to taint my memories...who have they got to play the girls?

You're aware that they already did a whole reboot FRANCHISE of the ol' TV series, right?

Well why put the "source" title if you are going to leave it blank?
