I still haven't called James Horner, James Schorner.....maybe it's because I've never mentioned his name whilst drunk?

We get ti that you hate them, Justin, but could you be at least respectful enough to actually spell their name right? Nobody who dislikes you here would spell your name as Justin Bugger or something like that, so please, at least give them the courtesy of spelling NAMES right...

...the last track is actually called "Finale"? Does that mean we might actually get a chronological release from Tyler, for once??

New "Hawaii Five-0" series composer Brian Tyler ("The Expendables") assembled and conducted 35 musicians for the updated version. Among the musicians were renowned players from the original television series, such as David Duke (1st Horn), Chuck Findley (1st Trumpet) and Bob Zimmitti (Percussion).

Now THAT'S how to do a classic tune - don't mess with it! At least that's how it sounded from the clip available!

Brian also talked about Battle: Los Angeles which he is recording right now and Fast Five which is coming up ne...xt for him. So check it out at www.filmmusicsite.com/interviews

Thanks for the interview. Very informative and I enjoy the sound clip of the Expendable main theme. Any plans to do an interview with either Alan Silvestri on his A-Team score or Harry on Prince of Persia or even John Powell on Knight and Day?

I've already tried to contact them but apparently John Powell doesn't do interviews and both Silvestri an HGW were to busy to do interviews at that time. But on the other side Brian Tyler was also really busy, he's recording Battle: Los Angeles right now and he got time to talk to me. He's a great guy.

Grr, the one downside to John Powell - he writes brilliant music, but is a bit of a recluse when it comes to fans or publicity! wink

I'm sure Scott Bradley would have had a lot to say about it.

Smartass comments aside, I really want to know what he thinks about his recent outputs.

I wonder how melodic the Battle score will be. Did he give you a listen?

He did do an interview for the scoring featurette on the Bourne Supremacy DVD, so he's not that reclusive.
